1. General Guidelines
- Always wear your official Yanko uniform (if applicable) and maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Carry all required documents, including your driving license, insurance, vehicle registration, and Yanko ID card.
- Ensure your vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and meets Yanko’s quality standards before starting your shift.
2. Using the Yanko App
- Login: Start your shift by logging into the Yanko Driver App with your credentials. Make sure your app is updated.
- Trip Notifications: Accept trip requests promptly. Review the passenger’s details and destination before starting the trip.
- Navigation: Use the in-app GPS to ensure accurate and efficient routes. Avoid taking longer or alternate routes unless approved by the passenger.
- End of Trip: Confirm the drop-off location in the app and ensure the trip fare is accurately displayed before ending the trip.
3. Safety Rules
- Follow all traffic rules, speed limits, and parking regulations.
- Avoid using your phone while driving unless it’s for navigation or a quick response to Yanko support or passengers.
- Do not drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substances that impair your ability to operate a vehicle.
- Ensure all passengers wear seat belts.
4. Customer Service
- Greet passengers politely when they enter the vehicle.
- Offer assistance if passengers have luggage or special needs.
- Avoid engaging in arguments or controversial discussions. Always remain calm and professional.
- If the passenger requests a specific route, follow it unless it compromises safety.
5. Payment and Fare
- Verify that the payment method (cash, credit, or app-based) is correct before starting the trip.
- Provide a receipt if requested.
- Never demand tips or additional fees beyond the displayed fare.
6. Emergency Procedures
- In case of an accident:
- Ensure the safety of all passengers.
- Contact Yanko Support immediately.
- Report to local authorities if required and follow legal procedures.
- For vehicle breakdowns:
- Inform the passenger and Yanko Support right away.
- Arrange for alternate transport for the passenger if necessary.
7. Handling Complaints and Issues
- If a passenger has a complaint, listen to them politely.
- Report any serious complaints to Yanko Support as soon as possible.
- If you feel unsafe at any point, end the trip and contact Yanko Support.
8. Ending Your Shift
- Log out of the Yanko Driver App after completing all trips.
- Review your earnings summary and ensure all trips are recorded accurately.
- Perform a final vehicle check for cleanliness and maintenance.
9. Prohibited Actions
- Never refuse a trip based on a passenger’s race, religion, gender, or location.
- Avoid smoking, eating, or playing loud music during trips.
- Do not allow unauthorized individuals or items in the vehicle.
